Pitt Still in the Mix with Brown

Gateway star Dorian Bell doesn't appear to be real high on the local schools, but his teammate Corey Brown is. That is not a bad thing, because Brown is one the nation's top two-way prospects and Pittsburgh remains high on his list.

Monroeville (Pa.) Gateway wide receiver/cornerback Corey Brown had himself a busy weekend as he visited Penn State and Friday and ventured to Pittsburgh on Saturday.

"I went and watched a practice last week and went to the scrimmage on Saturday," Brown said. "They seem like they have alot of talent down there.

"The scrimmage was pretty intense," Brown continued. "There was a lot of people there. The defense is pretty good this year."

Brown has maintained that North Carolina, West Virginia and Pittsburgh have been in his top three, but after his trip to Penn State the list has changed slightly.

"Right now, I'd say North Carolina, West Virginia, Pittsburgh, Penn State and Alabama," Brown said when asked about his interests. "I'm still waiting to see what Ohio State is going to do. If they offer they'll be in the mix."
