Although he is highly ranked by Scout.com as the No. 28 linebacker in the nation, Austin Gamble seems to be under the radar at this stage in his recruitment. We caught up with this talented defender to see what offers he currently has and what his plans are for the summer.
Three-star linebacker Austin Gamble
currently holds three offers and the standout linebacker from Cypress Bay High School in Weston, Florida seems content on taking his time through the process to see what other schools will enter the mix for his services.
Gamble currently holds offers from Pitt, Mississippi State, and Florida International. He also has been receiving interest from other schools and hopes to check out many of them this
"I'm also interested in Wake Forest, Louisville, and Auburn," said Gamble. I'm trying to make it to all of their camps this summer to check them out."
Most schools see Gamble as an outside linebacker although some told him he could play inside in certain packages.
We asked Gamble if he had any time-table on a decision and does he prefer to remain in the state of Florida for college? He responded, "I want to wait it out and see what all options I will have, I don't care about distance, I just want to find the best fit for me."
