No. 18 Pittsburgh (9-3) faces No. 24 Oregon State (8-4) Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Sun Bowl Stadium in El Paso, Texas.
The Panthers began Monday's activities with team meetings and a two-hour practice. Immediately following that session, the team boarded buses and headed to Fort Bliss.
The entire Pitt family was treated to a tour and demonstration of military vehicles, obstacle courses and artillery on the base. Players were able to get up close and work with the troops stationed on the base and were even able to take part in operating a few of the devices.
Following the tour, both Pitt and Oregon State team, staff and guests were invited to a dinner and show on the base including a hypnotist, who succeeded in entertaining the crowd by entrancing a few in attendance.
