Quarterback Anthony Gonzalez from Liberty High School in Bethlehem, Pa.; defensive end T.J. Clemmings from Paterson, N.J. Catholic High School and wideout Shakim Phillips from DePaul Catholic High School in Wayne, N.J. all spent time at the Pittsburgh camp.
"It was a great weekend,'' Phillips said. "I really had a good time. I really enjoyed myself at Pitt, and I hope to come back here in the fall. I liked all the coaches and players I talked with. They're a good bunch of guys.''
Here are some photos with Phillips and Clemmings:
Phillips is introduced to Pitt WR coach Bryan Bossard by Panthers DB coach Jeff Hafley, who is recruiting the wideout from New Jersey.
Bossard talks strategy with Phillips.
Hafley tells Phillips to get to Pitt as quickly as possible, because Bossard's WRs can't get off the line against his DBs.
Phillips has a laugh about it with Bossard and Hafley.
Clemmings prepares for his camp session at Pitt.
Despite all the stretching, Clemmings still was limping by the end of the day. But he remained in good spirits as an evening on the town awaited.
