However, there also was some exciting action on the field as well with some key recruiting prospects participating with their respective teams.
Here are some photos with those players at Pittsburgh:
Pitt future stars Jonathan Baldwin and Shayne Hale stopped by to check out the brackets.
Oil City, Pa. 2011 TE Ben Koyack
The athletic Koyack can split out and stretch the field, too.
Brandon Ifill from Penn Hills HS in Pittsburgh is rated among the top DBs in the area.
In the passing camp, as well as throughout his HS career, Ifill has been a dangerous receiver, too.
CB Cullen Christian, also from Penn Hills, is coveted by many schools for his coverage skills and athleticism.
Christian takes a break to give the second-team defense a chance.
Since pass-rushing DE like Dakota Royer from Manheim Central, Pa. HS aren't needed at the passing camp, they are relegated to running occasional pass routes or watching from the sideline.
Royer appears to be a lot bigger than he was at this time last year, but there appears to be a lot of room for him to develop.
Former Pitt DT Demond Gibson giving something back to his HS with some serious one-on-one coaching.
Double-teamed in the end zone: Loyalsock DBs have Steel Valley WR cut off.
Woodland Hills DT K.K. Smith (left).
Pitt commit Kevin Weatherspoon, a Clairton, Pa. WR, drew tight coverage all weekend.
Weatherspoon splits out wide right.
Weatherspoon and Bears teammates wait for their next game to begin.
Pitt coach Dave Wannstedt prepares to hand the trophy to North Allegheny HS in Wexford, Pa.
