Another Linebacker In The Fold

On Sunday, Quinton Alston mentioned how he wanted "to to have someone starting next to me that can contribute." Monday, he got his wish as Dallastown linebacker Ben Kline committed to the Panthers.

Ben Kline had offers from the ACC, Big Ten and Big East. In a recent article, he said distance wouldn't be a factor, but that also, "Staying close would be a bonus."

Monday, he made that bonus, as he committed to the Pitt Panthers. Kline becomes the fifth commit of the 2010 recruiting class, the second in three days.

Kline joins fellow linebacker Quinton Alston, who committed to the Panthers on Saturday.

As a junior, Kline finished with 118 tackles on defense. He also had 26 receptions for 400 yards and four touchdowns. Additionally, he carried the ball 12 times for 160 yards and four scores.

Stay tuned for more on Kline's commitment.
