Four-star offensive guard Aundrey Walker is getting set for his senior season at Cleveland (OH) Glenville. Typically, the Tarblooders start the season with a tough non-conference or out-of-state opponent. That's where Walker's focus is right now.
Aundrey Walker is looking forward to his team's season-opener, a road game at Indiana's Warren Central. Recruiting is on the back-burner for now.
"Everything's been good, I'm just working out with the team," Walker said. "The last camp I went to was the Sound Body and Sound Mind camp in Detroit, it's Antonio Gates' camp. It was good, it was a fun experience. I didn't get to meet him, but he talked to us."
Walker says the latest school to offer him is Syracuse. The Orange are even with every other school that has offered him. He has no favorites, and will likely spend the fall taking official visits, though he has no idea yet who those may be.
"I'm interested in everybody who's interested in me," Walker said.
Walker's only trip to Pittsburgh came in back in April for a spring practice. Overall, things went well, and he will keep Pitt in the mix.
"They offered me," Walker said of the Panthers. "I went down there in April, for one of their spring practices. It was a nice place, nice facilities. The coaches were great too."
Walker spent the most time with offensive line coach Tony Wise.
"I got to meet Coach Wise," Walker said. "We had a personal conversation for an hour, it was good."
