I feel bad for kyron and feel so much sympathy for his loss and feel like he just couldn't overcome it. He was playing with too much emotion at times and justifiably so. This loss was not on him at all but he was our leader all year and these last few games we lost that sense of calmness during the difficult moments. I just hope we can bounce back from something like this. A loss at smu we could overcome if it's because we just weren't good enough and it gives you motivation for next year, but this is a shot straight to the heart here I hope we can all rebound from this. Prayers for kyron and his family, and thank you to all the players and coaches on a successful season but just the worst way to end a season ever especially this one where it takes away from all the good we did.
That game was Cooley taking a bunch of players who were not very talented to the NCAA. It was gravy. It was house money. It was unbelievable that we were there. Next season will be here before you know it. 4 straight NCAAs should surprise you way more than a poor showing in the tourney.
Camster, you hit it on the head. Friars lost every 50/50 ball in the 2nd half and the defense wasnt out on guys as much. Depth should improve greatly next year which will help. They really need a go to guy, they didnt have anyone to take the momentum back
Difficult pill to swallow. Needed a better rotation of players in the second half as most of the starters seemed to run out of gas. The team had chances at the start of the second half to get a bigger lead but too many missed chances.
