If we were lazy defensively, we could have maybe tried a different tactic. Set up the press--I know that's not an option given we never scored.
And when things got really desperate late, we almost seemed resigned. That's not a Cooley-coached team.

Seemed like they just lost confidence. Didn't fight thru their frustration. One of the biggest changes to the season was when PC really locked in on D as a team and didn't let their offensive struggles impact their defense.
Exactly but when your whole team has 3 fouls with 15 minutes to play you can't play aggressive defense. When players pick up their 3rd they are instructed to be careful and not get their 4th. We were forced to play phantom defense which led to the USC comeback.
