Parker will visit both schools soon.
"I'm setting my official (visit) up for Arizona State -- that's going to be next month," said the 6-foot-4, 200-pound Parker. "We are shooting for the December 14. But if we can't do it then, I'll go in January."
"Miami -- we are still talking about that visit. Next time I talk to the coaches, we are probably going to set that up."
Each schools appeals to Parker.
"Miami -- it's beautiful down there," Parker said. "It's far away from home, but it would give a chance to have a fresh start. I love the people down there, they are very friendly. When I visited, the players were nice and gave me a warm welcome. Down there, they are all about football and that's what I like."
"Arizona State has shown me a lot of love since the first time I talked to them. From the first phone call, my recruiting coach Dan Lanning sounded real sincere. He was different -- he showed a lot interest in my personal life. He always asks about my family and talks to them. It just shows they really care about me, my education, and where I'm going in life. If football doesn't work out, Arizona State is a great place to study and go to school."
The safety is no hurry to make a decision, but has an idea of when he would like to pick a school.
"Right now, I'm in the process of looking really deep into both schools," he said. "Here in the next couple of months, I'm definitely going to make a decision. I will probably make my decision before Signing Day."
Parker is a four-star prospect and the 18th-ranked safety in the country.
