Purdue will play the Wolfpack on Dec. 2 at Mackey Arena, as announced in conjunction with both conferences. Game time and network assignments have yet to be designated.
The Boilermakers own a 7-6 overall record in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge, and have won five consecutive games in the event, the third-best mark all time. Last season, Purdue pounded Boston College, 88-67, at Mackey Arena.
Last season, N.C. State finished with a record of 22-14 and reached the NCAA Tournament's second round. The Wolfpack returns three starters from that team, but loses ACC Player of the Year T.J. Warren and starting point guard Tyler Lewis, who transferred to Butler.
Purdue finished the season with its second consecutive sub-.500 record, a 15-17 mark.
The only other known nonconference game for Purdue is against Notre Dame in the Crossroads Classic.
