Nick Rohrer camped at Purdue and he impressed Boilermaker coach, Mark Hagan enough to be invited for an official visit. Rohrer says he's bringing someone with him on his visit as well.

DT Nick Rohrer 6-0 298 5.1 Oak Creek, Wisconsin

Nick Rohrer is among the top defensive line prospects in the Midwest and so far this season, he and teammate Brian Calhoun have led Oak Creek to a 4-0 start and a #1 ranking in Wisconsin.

Rohrer sat out last game with a high ankle sprain but looks to be ready for action this week. So far in 2001, Nick has 23 solo tackles, 16 of those tackles are for loss and he also has six sacks. On offense, Rohrer is responsible for opening the gaping holes for All-America candidate Brian Calhoun.

"Brian and I both have narrowed things down to Iowa and Purdue." Rohrer said. "Purdue likes me because I did well at their camp. Iowa has always been one of my favorites and coach (Lester) Erb will be at our game this weekend."

Rohrer and teammate Brian Calhoun have both scheduled official visits to Purdue on December 1st for the Boilermakers game with Notre Dame.
