Purdue Offers Michigan Lineman

The Purdue coaching staff doesn't have a problem with going into Michigan looking for offensive lineman. The Boilers were able to land highly recruited Kelly Butler from Grand Rapids a few years back and this year they have an eye on a solid prospect from Monroe.

Pat Sharrow, a 6-foot-5, 275-pound, offensive and defensive lineman from Monroe, Michigan will be highly recruited in 2002. Sharrow will be a three-year starter on both sides of the ball in 2002.

"I have scholarship offers from Purdue, Toledo, Akron, Central Michigan, Bowling Green, Ohio University and Miami, Ohio." Sharrow said.

"My favorites are Michigan, Michigan State, Purdue, Ohio State, Penn State, Wisconsin, Virginia and Nebraska. I don't have a leader right now.

Sharrow had 44 pancake blocks as a junior and was named all-county and all-district as well.

Which side of the ball will Sharrow play at the next level?

"To be honest with you, I don't know. It's totally up in the air right now. It seems that every school has a different opinion on whether I should play offense or defense. It doesn't matter to me, I just want to play."

Sharrow camped at Michigan and Michigan State this summer.
