Michigan RB Interested in Purdue

Michigan's Nick Fincher says he'll sign with Purdue in February. Jerome Jackson is another Michigander that Purdue would also love to sign this winter. Jackson talks about his offers and early leaders.

Jerome Jackson, a 6-foot, 195-pound, running back from Saginaw, Michigan is one of the top prospects in the Midwest.

Jackson will be a four-year varsity starter in 2002. He rushed for 1,700 yards and 25 touchdowns as a junior.

"Penn State, Michigan, Michigan State, Minnesota, Nebraska and Purdue have offered me a scholarship." Jackson said.

"My favorites are Michigan, Michigan State, Nebraska and Purdue. I'm basically looking at all the schools that have offered me.

"I don't have a leader right now."

Jackson was named all-state in 2001. He participated in the (Michigan State) Nike Camp this summer.
