Missouri Star Names Boilers

Aaron Whittington has been offered several scholarships and his stock is definitely on the rise. Whittington could play on either side of the ball at the next level.

"I have a lot of scholarship offers," said defensive end, tight end Aaron Whittington. "My mom has them upstairs put away. I couldn't even tell you how many there are.

"Most of my offers are from Big Ten and Big XII schools.

"I'm completely open. I couldn't even give you a top five. I'm concentrating on my season now and I'll take my visits after the season.

"I like everybody right now. Missouri, Wisconsin, Michigan State, Kansas State, Illinois, UCLA, Nebraska, Michigan, Indiana, Purdue, USC (Southern Cal), Texas, Ohio State are some of the schools that come to mind."

Whittington, a 6-foot-4, 210-pounder, from St. Louis (Mo) Hazelwood East is a two-year varsity starter. He was named all-state as a sophomore.
