So Far; So Good

Tommie Thomas, a 6-foot-1, 190-pound, athlete, from Oak Lawn (Ill.) Richards was already one of the most recruited prospects in the Land of Lincoln. Thomas already had his fair share of scholarship offers coming into the 2007 season and with two outstanding games under his belt this season, more offers will be on their way.

Tommie Thomas is putting up some big numbers for the Bulldogs. He's the starting quarterback and he threw for 160 yards and two touchdowns and also ran for a touchdown in his first game. He has three interceptions on the season and Richards is 2-0 and will most likely be 3-0 headed into their toughest game of the year.

"We play at Lemont in two weeks," Tommie Thomas said. "That's a big game for us. I get to see (Graham) Pocic and Brett (Nagel). Lemont has a great defense and it's going to be a big challenge for our team."

Thomas says nothing's new on the recruiting front and he's still basically looking at the same schools.

"I have offers from Kansas State, Cincinnati, Purdue, Indiana, Illinois, Colorado, Akron and Ball State." He said.

"My favorites are Purdue, Illinois, Colorado, Indiana, Iowa and Kansas State. I haven't set up any official visits yet. I'm still taking everything in stride. I haven't been to any college games yet and don't have anything planned. I'm just concentrating on the season."

Thomas is the #27 ranked prospect in Illinois according to Scout.com
