Fade To Black

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind.-When the Boilermaker squad takes the field Saturday, Sept. 15, against Central Michigan, they hope to be walking into a blackout. Not in a literal sense, though after a lengthy lightning delay in the home opener that may need to be made clear.

Earlier this week, Boilermaker All-Access caught up with center Robbie Powell and linebacker Anthony Heygood to discuss the benefits of playing at home. They say playing in Ross-Ade Stadium is always special, especially when the fans are united, both in spirit and in outfit.

The Boilermakers and the Central Michigan Chippewas kick off at noon on Saturday.

Tickets are still available for the game, which can be seen nationally on ESPN2 and heard around the state on the Boilermaker Radio Network. For ticket information, visit purduesports.com or call the Athletic Ticket Office at 1-800-49-SPORT.
