Class of 2012 receiver Carlton Agudosi, who is 6-foot-6, 198 pounds, camped at Rutgers in June and has been a frequent visitor to campus. The Scarlet Knights are also one of a handful of BCS schools recruiting Agudosi.
"As of right now, Nebraska, Wisconsin, LSU, Rutgers are recruiting me," he said. "I get emails, letters, stuff like that. Rutgers was out to see me at Hunterdon Central, but other than that I don't (any other schools came out). They say they like my height, that I can run, I'm quick. They like my size."
Agudosi used his big frame to catch 37 passes for 770 yards and eight touchdowns for the Warriors, who have a season-ending Thanksgiving Day game against Piscataway remaining on the schedule.
He said there is a bunch of things he wants to work on before his senior season, including increased his 4.6 (seconds) speed in the 40-yard dash.
"I can get better at that, but if I can't get by a defensive back, I'm can still get open," Agudosi said. "I'm 6-6, so I'm going to go get it. My route-running, my down-the-field stuff and tracking the ball more (are other areas of improvement). I have to work on (strength) more."
Agudosi's proximity to Rutgers has allowed him to visit the campus several times. He camped there, returned in July for a tour and also took in a game earlier this season.
"They have a family atmosphere," he said. "They have fun and they have a young coaching staff that has a lot of energy and they seem excited about the game."
One interesting aspect is Agudosi's friendship with Morgan. They have talked about going to college together, but it is not a priority.
"We're not going to go to the same college just because of that," he said. "If we both like Rutgers, we could both go to Rutgers. If he likes something else and I like something else, we'll probably go somewhere else. But he is my best friend."
