Another Visit On Tap For DT Wright?

Four-star defensive tackle Marquise Wright of Paramus (N.J.) Catholic High is getting close to making a decision, but is another trip on his agenda? Wright, who made an official visit to Rutgers over the weekend, spoke to Monday to update his recruitment, and he talked about factors of when a decision could be made.

Paramus (N.J.) Catholic four-star defensive tackle Marquise Wright said Monday before he makes a college decision, he needs to decide whether he will add one more trip to his schedule.

The 6-foot-3, 260-pound Wright finished his official visit to Rutgers on Sunday, and now is deciding whether he will visit Miami or Pittsburgh, where he de-committed from after the coaching changes.

"I'm going to talk to Miami and (Pittsburgh), and if I decide to take my last visit to one of them, then I'll do that," he said. "If I don't take a visit, I'll probably my make decision Friday. I'll probably do something at my school."

Wright added he hoped to speak with the coaches tonight or Tuesday before deciding about another visit.

"I'm going to talk to them and see where my heart is, and then see if I'm going to make another trip," Wright said. "I think I sort of know what I'm going to do."

Wright already visited North Carolina, Maryland and Michigan State, but acknowledged the Tar Heels are no longer recruiting him. The Terps are also no longer in the equation.

And Wright said his goal of visiting Rutgers wasn't to commit at the end of the trip.

"I didn't leave that visit thinking I was going to make a decision," Wright said. "I went there and found out what I needed to find out. I learned that Rutgers is a very family-oriented program."

Wright indicated after his visit he was down to Rutgers and Michigan State, which picked up a commitment from defensive lineman Brandon Clemons.

"Honestly, it doesn't impact my situation," Wright said. "He and I are friends. If they think I'm a priority, then they'll keep recruiting me."
