NJ ALLSTARS WIN
The 42nd Annual NJ vs. Connecticut JCCS High School All Star Classic took place Saturday evening at the Bridgeport JCC. The NJ All Stars were led to victory by Rutgers-bound All American guard Marquis Webb and Syracuse-bound All American forward Terrence Roberts. The final score was New Jersey All Stars 104 and Connecticut 100. The game also featured All American Darryl Mookie Watkins a 6'11" high school team-mate of Webb who is being heavily pursued by Rutgers and UNC among others. Mookie went for 11 points and a load of rebounds. Several other unsigned players showed their stuff including highly regarded Connecticut stars Kelvin Davis and Lawrence Carrier.
