At 6'1"-229lbs with a 4.4 forty, Dwayne Jones (RB) has drawn the attention of numerous college recruiters. In only six games at Lakewood High School, he ran for 953 yards. For his senior season, Jones has transferred to Toms River North High school in Toms River (New Jersey) and looks to improve on his junior numbers.

-Virginia - He has a good relationship with his recruiting coach, Al Golden. He also stated that it is a good school with a good football program.
-Boston College - He also has a good relationship with his recruiting coach, Bill McGovern. He also likes the campus and the surrounding area. Since he has been to the school a number of times, he feels very comfortable there.
-Ohio State: He likes the fact that they are the national champion. They were a childhood favorite.

Where has he taken unofficial visits or plan to do so?

Jones has already visited Rutgers and West Virginia. Over the next month, he will be visiting Virginia and Maryland for their spring games

- Academics: He will be paying a lot of attention to the number of athletes, who obtain a degree from the university.
- Location: He does not want to go more than 8 hours away from home.
- Number of players at his position: He stated that he will be taking a very close look at the number of players at the RB position along with the number of years of eligibility those players have remaining.

Probably not, he stated that he will take all five of his visits before making a decision.

He plans on majoring in Education.
