Gathering of Former Players
I was informed by one of my fellow letterwinners that the Football Letterwinners Association will be having a picnic at 3:30PM on April 25th prior to the annual Spring Game. As a result, I would like to modify the plans and invite all former football Scarlet Knights to Athlete's Glenn at 3:30PM.
Please spread the word. It would be great to see everyone again.
Clinics and Camps
Welcome to Jersey Kicking, your source for quality kicking, punting, snapping and holding instruction! Our #1 goal at Jersey Kicking is to give every athlete a sound understanding of key kicking, punting, snapping or holding principles. We accomplish this by breaking down each step required for a successful kick, punt, snap or hold. Then, with the help of our professional staff, you will build your own individualized technique to maximize your ability.
Mike McMahon. Robert Barr. Marco Battaglia.
While the above list could easily be confused with one of disappointing NFL draft-day selections, it is in actuality the last three Scarlet Knights selected by the league.
And this weekend - possibly as early as tomorrow - senior tight end L.J. Smith will add his name to this short list.

Jerry Andre can't rationalize his father's death. He can only use his strong faith to help understand it.
"God does everything for a reason," said Andre, a junior wide receiver on the Rutgers University football team. "I'm just going to be strong and know that my father's watching me from up above."

Ro Russell sounded as if he was ticking off the names of a college basketball top 25 ranking. Michigan, Connecticut, Syracuse, Pittsburgh, USC, Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin.
All dispatched assistants north of the border at some point this season, Canada's top AAU coach said, for the same reason: Point guard Antwi Atuahene.
Rutgers focusing on Canadian star
Freshman Chris Lillis (Fair Haven, NJ) picked up two saves with superb relief pitching and senior Steve Normane (Pt. Pleasant, NJ) was 4-for-6 with four RBI, including a tie-breaking RBI triple in the opener, to lead Rutgers to a doubleheader sweep of St. Johns in BIG EAST baseball action this afternoon. Lillis recorded the final two outs in a 7-6, game one victory (stranding two runners) and pitched 1.2 innings of shutout relief, including a 1-2-3 ninth inning, to preserve a 9-7 win in the nightcap. With the sweep, Rutgers moves to .500 for the first time this season at 14-14 and improves to 8-3 in BIG EAST play, while SJU falls to 18-17, 7-5.

Where are there now?
Rutgers last football Big East victory was fueled by an overtime kick by Lee McDonald, which capped an upset victory over Syracuse at Rutgers Stadium.
Where is he now? He earned his masters at Rutgers and is now an Academic Advisor for the Rutgers football team. In addition, he and former Rutgers punter Charlie Titus hold Kicking Clinics around New Jersey. Once more, with mixed feelings. Roy Williams cried. Kansas fans cheered most of them, anyway. But this time, Williams didn't stand in front of the Kansas faithful as the Jayhawks' coach. His appearance Thursday night at the team's annual awards ceremony came three days after he accepted the head coaching job at his alma mater, North Carolina.
