Basketball Recruiting - Rutgers is ready to sign Antwi

Our own Netwhispers had this story first. Now it appears that a top point guard is "in the bag" for the Scarlet Knights.

The way Antwi Atuahene sees it, not much is going to change his mind.
Sure Rutgers is coming off a 12-16 season, one in which it failed -for the second time in two years - to join 12 Big East teams in the league's postseason men's basketball tourney.
"That's why they need players like me," said Atuahene, a 6-foot-4, 185-pound point guard largely regarded as one of Canada's top recruits.

Freshman Chris Lillis picked up saves in both games as the Rutgers edged visiting St. John's, 7-6 and 9-7, in a doubleheader sweep. The wins gave Rutgers a 14-14 record, the first time the Scarlet Knights have been at the .500 mark all season. Steve Normane drove in two runs in each game, including a run-scoring triple that broke a 6-6 tie in the sixth inning of the first game.
