Another School Making Push for Morgan checked in this week with Franklin High School (Somerset, N.J.) three-star recruit Kye Morgan. Come inside to find out what new school sticking out to Morgan, as well as his thoughts on Rutgers and when he wants to make his decision.

Upon watching teammate and close friend Carlton Agudosi commit to Rutgers last month, Kye Morgan told that the Scarlet Knights were his leader.

With the last month to think about it and the emotions of Agudosi's commitment over with, Morgan said Rutgers remains his top choice.

"Rutgers is still there," Morgan said on his leader.

The change, however, is that Morgan now has Virginia as his No. 2 school.

"I don't even know why, but it's Rutgers and then UVA that are standing out," Morgan said. "It's just a feeling."

Morgan's thoughts of UVA skyrocketed after a visit to Charlottesville, Va. He said he would be happy spending the next four years of his life there.

"When I visited there the campus was just so beautiful, but it's a long drive from home," he said. "I really loved the campus, but there wasn't much outside the campus. ... I like what they have building there. It's great with academics too.

"A lot of my decision is if I can see myself calling that place ‘home' for the next four years. I have that at Rutgers and probably UVA too."

Connecticut and Boston College are the other schools in the mix for Morgan, he said. Morgan said he likes UConn and would like to visit the Eagles to "see what they're about."

Morgan said he gets more excited each day for when he makes his decision, especially after watching Agudosi finish the process. Decision day, however, could come at any time.

"I was probably even happier than [Agudosi] was when he committed," Morgan said. "I was just proud. ... It'll be my turn when the time is right."

Morgan said he has good relationships at Rutgers with assistant coaches Bob Frasier and Robb Smith. He visited multiple times during the spring and attended multiple games during the 2010 and 2009 seasons.

"The thing about Rutgers is I know everything I need to know about the school," he said. "I've been there a hundred times and Carlton is already a commit. Now I just want to build better relationships with the coaches."

Having Agudosi is a plus, he said, but it does not add any pressure to pick Rutgers.

"Carlton lets me do what I want," he said. "He wants me to be happy with my choice and not force me to pick Rutgers. Of course, that's where he wants me though."

With the commitment of Desmon Peoples and addition of Savon Huggins for the upcoming season, Rutgers is likely filled up at running back. Rutgers is recruiting Morgan as a cornerback.
