The Penn State Nike Camp

The Penn State Nike Camp

Eric Cumba, OL out of Don Bosco showed some strength in the bench press. He was beat on the inside on rush drills but pancaked a kid later in the drills.

Steve Council the offensive linemen out of Plainfield did very well on the bench, placing second best of the linemen in Jersey.

Jeremy Zuttah, the OL out of JP Stevens showed good quickness and placed high in the bench.

Nheme Theodore, DT out of East Orange embarrassed a lot of offensive linemen but couldn't get past Plainfield's Rob Crudup.

Kenny Cattouse, RB out of Keyport was there but didn't impress as much as his team mate JJ Bedle. Bedle the WR/DB out of Keyport was very impressive. He caught everything thrown at him, often with acrobatic grabs.

Jeremy Zuttah and Steve council

Matt Spittal, WR out of Eastern put on a good show. He made the catches look pretty. He showed quickness and good hands.

Phil Anderson, the QB out of Plainfield was competing with the top quarterbacks in Pennsylvania and placed sixth or seventh out of the top ten.

The big surprise of the camp was a Defensive End named Cedric Bowling out of Harrisburg. He was very impressive. He always beat his man and continually impressed with his explosiveness. He was blowing by offensive lineman all day. Bowman was about 6-3, 260. He was clearly the surprise of the camp. I'll get more on him as soon as I can.
