Last Season's Statistics
Defense:Total Tackles: 42 (17 Unassisted 25 Assisted); Passes Defended: 8, 0 Pass interference calls; INT's: 3 Return Long of 45 yards.
Offense:24 Carries 320 yards 13.3 YPC 1 rushing TD of 41 yards; 5 Receptions, 110 yards, (22 YPR) Long of 50 yards.
Special Teams:7 Kickoff Returns 212 yards (30.2 YPR), Long of 60 Yards
These stats are especially impressive since in the fall of 2002 he was part of a four man, senior heavy backfield rotation. One Senior rushed for over 1,600 yards and one other over 1,100 yards. This limited Tevon's touches on offense but when he got the ball he ended up with high averages per touch himself. Add to that the fact that Tevon missed three games with an knee sprain and you have an impressive junior season.
Tevon was elected to Who's who of High School Student in America. He has 3.1 GPA and has already received a qualifying score on his SAT.
