Recruit Wrap: How RU Commits/Targets Fared's "Recruit Wrap" is a quick-read look at how some of Rutgers' top targets as well as committed players fared on the high school gridiron during the weekend games. The "Wrap" goes wherever the Scarlet Knights are recruiting.

Welcome to the "Recruit Wrap," a feature that appears Monday during the high school season.

It will be a mix of players already committed to Rutgers as well as updates on players who are being recruited by the Scarlet Knights. It is designed to give readers a potpourri of information on how recruits are faring on a weekly basis.

Committed to Rutgers
Bloomsburg (Pa.) High quarterback Blake Rankin completed 22 passes for 344 yards and two TDs and ran for 88 yards and two TDs in a 40-34 loss to Hughesville.

Sayreville High (Parlin, N.J.) running back Delon Stephenson carried nine times for 101 yards and two TDs (60, 2), caught two passes for 30 yards and made two tackles in a 42-7 win against Woodbridge.

St. Peter's Prep (Jersey City, N.J.) tight end Michael Giacone had two catches for 82 yards in a 21-0 win against Bayonne.

Montclair (N.J.) High defensive end Julian Pinnix-Odrick made three tackles, including a sack, in a 49-0 win against Bellville.

Franklin High (Somerset, N.J.) receiver Carlton Agudosi set the school's all-time receiving yardage mark (1,286) with three catches for 83 yards and a TD (80) in a 48-0 win against Bridgewater-Raritan.

Ponte Vedra (Fla.) High placekicker Kyle Federico was 3 for 3 on PATs, made his first FG attempt of the season and had four touchbacks on seven kickoffs in a 38-17 win against Episcopal.

Linden (N.J.) High receiver Ruhann Peele ran 18 times for 102 yards and a TD in a 33-20 loss to Immaculata.

Archbishop Wood High (Warminster, Pa.) running back Desmon Peoples had TD runs of 1 and 2 yards in a 55-7 win against Archbishop Carroll.

Franklin High (Reisterstown, Md.) receiver Ian Thomas had three catches for 82 yards and a TD, ran once for four yards, returned a punt for an 82-yard TD and had two tackles in a 60-20 win against Kenwood.

Timber Creek Regional (Erial, N.J.) middle linebacker Quanzell Lambert had a sack in a 34-13 win against Camden Wilson.

Wayne Hills (N.J.) High Kevin Olsen completed 9 of 15 for 139 yards and a TD (10) in a 28-21 win against Ridgewood.

Piscataway (N.J.) High athlete Nadir Barnwell completed 6 of 12 for 94 yards and ran for 42 yards and a TD in a 41-7 win against J.P. Stevens.

Immaculata High (Somerville, N.J.) defensive end Tashawn Bower had 10 tackles, two sacks, a safety and forced two fumbles against Linden.

Timber Creek Regional defensive tackle Greg Webb had 1½ sacks and an INT in a 34-13 win against Camden Wilson.

Absegami High athlete Rashad Kinlaw complete 13 of 18 for 131 yards and a TD and ran 14 times for 75 yards and two TDs in a 49-34 win against Milleville.

Elizabeth (N.J.) High quarterback Phillip Walker threw two TDs (64, 19) in a loss to Union.

Piscataway High defensive back/running back Eddie Lee ran twice for 79 yards and a TD (6) and returned a punt 65 yards for a score in a win against Bridgewater-Raritan.

Bergen Catholic High (Oradell, N.J.) receiver John Tsimis caught three passes for 86 yards and two TDs (25, 36) in a 30-17 win against St. Joseph's-Montvale.

St. Joseph's-Montvale (N.J.) receiver Rickey Jeune had a 6-yard TD catch in a loss to Bergen Catholic.

Union (N.J.) High running back Jamauri Bogan ran 50 times for 376 yards and six TDs in a 43-21 win against Elizabeth.
