Recruit Wrap: Thanksgiving Weekend's "Recruit Wrap" is a quick-read look at how some of Rutgers' top targets as well as committed players fared on the high school gridiron during the weekend games. The "Wrap" goes wherever the Scarlet Knights are recruiting.

Welcome to the "Recruit Wrap," a feature that appears each week during the high school season.

It will be a mix of players already committed to Rutgers as well as updates on players who are being recruited by the Scarlet Knights. It is designed to give readers a potpourri of information on how recruits are faring on a weekly basis.

Committed to Rutgers

Bloomsburg Area (Pa.) quarterback Blake Rankin: Rankin broke his ankle on the opening drive of a 28-0 loss to end Bloomsburg Area's (Pa.) season.

Franklin (Somerset, N.J.) wide receiver Carlton Agudosi: The 6-foot-6 receiver caught three balls for 48 yards in a Thanksgiving loss to Piscataway in the "Raritan River Classic."

St. Peters Prep (Jersey City, N.J.) tight end Michael Giacone: In his final college game, Giacone had a 16-yard reception and lost a fumble in a Prep 28-7 win over Union City.

Montclair (N.J.) defensive lineman Julian Pinnix-Odrick: Pinnix-Odrick made three tackles in a 51-7 rout of Bloomfield. He leads Montclair Saturday in the state championship at the Meadowlands.

Class of 2012

Don Bosco Prep (Ramsey, N.J.) safety Elijah Shumate: Shumate ran for touchdowns of 11 and 10 yards in a dominant 41-0 victory over St. Joseph's (Montvale, N.J.) on Thanksgiving.

Monclair ATH Khalif Herbin: The explosive quarterback ran for 135 yards and three touchdowns on eight attempts. He completed three passes for 66 yards and a fourth touchdown.

Class of 2013

Piscataway (N.J.) ATH Nadir Barnwell: The athletic quarterback threw for two touchdowns and ran for a third in his team's 34-19 victory over Franklin. Barnwell totaled 184 yards and made six tackles at cornerback.

Don Bosco defensive end Alquadin Muhammad: Muhammed logged three sacks in the Bosco win.

St. Peters Prep wide receiver Charlie Callinan: The wideout logged four catches for 50 yards.

Franklin ATH Eddie Lee: Lee ran for 60 yards and made seven tackles against Piscataway.

St. Joseph's (Montvale, N.J.) wide receiver Ricky Jeune: Jeune was the lone bright spot in the 41-0 loss, catching four balls for 75 yards.

Class of 2014

Don Bosco running back Jabrill Peppers: The sophomore superstar ran for 57 yards and three touchdowns and intercepted a pass for Bosco.

Union (N.J.) running back Jamauri Bogan: Bogan ran for 103 yards and a touchdown on 17 carries in Union's Thanksgiving Day victory over Linden.
