UPDATED: Class Sticking Together

Commits Chris Muller and Brandon Arcidiacono stated publicly they will remain committed to Rutgers football. What other commits will stay? Come inside.

Every member of the Rutgers recruiting Class of 2012 has been in contact with the coaching staff and stated intentions to stick with the program, said multiple sources outside of the program.

While things can change, for now, the entire class remains committed to Rutgers, sources said.

Immediately following Tim Pernetti's press conference, Offensive linemen Chris Muller and Brandon Arcidiacono have decided to stick with the Rutgers program in the wake of coach Greg Schiano's departure.

"I talked with my family and I'm staying," Muller said. "It's where I want to be."

Arcidiacono said he will "definitely stick with Rutgers."

"I never left," Arcidiacono said. "I still believe in what I committed to and I think making Coach [Kyle] Flood the interim coach is a great step."

St. Peters Prep (Jersey City, N.J.) tight end Michael Giacone told ScarletReport.com he is leaning towards staying but has not officially made a decision.

According to Arcidiacono, he and teammate Desmon Peoples are meeting with Muller and the other Pennsylvania commits, J.J. Denman and Blake Rankin, to discuss sticking together as Scarlet Knights.

"I think there are a lot of guys that are staying," Muller said. "Most of the guys I've talked to still believe."
