"I'm going to let colleges know that UConn is where I plan to be right now, but I'm still going to look at other schools," Ogundeko said. "I want to find the school that's best for me and can help my family. This isn't just a decision for me. It's about my family and where my mom and me are comfortable about going."
"They offered me on Thursday afternoon," Ogundeko said. "I really don't know that much. I only know that they're recruiting me now and they want me to come to their school and make the program better. I like the coach, but I don't know too much right now."
Maryland is also showing strong interest, Ogundeko said, and he thinks an offer is coming.
"I will look at any school that is interested, but I'm committed to UConn," Ogundeko said. Ogundeko said he will visit Rutgers and may take other visits over the next year, but remains committed to UConn.
"I like almost everything about UConn," he said. "I like the people up there a lot and I like that the coaches are all about making sure you graduate and get a degree."
