all-you-can-eat buffets, nobody is safe. There are whispers that the ACC might
turn its attention to the Southeastern Conference.
Some SEC schools might prefer ACC - Courier News
For Big East
athletic directors, the only fireworks they expect to see this weekend are of
the holiday variety. After weeks of almost daily twists and turns in the
Atlantic Coast Conference expansion saga, things are starting to calm
But at this point, everyone in the expansion ripple remains on guard. While the football dollars flow freely into athletic department coffers, a more valuable commodity - trust - is at a premium.

Virginia Tech officially accepted invitations to join the Atlantic Coast
Conference, rumors involving Xavier University and other schools started

other schools joining the Big East.
PLEASE READ (and stop sending me angry emails asking why I renewed your subscriptions)
I keep receiving angry emails from fans asking why I renewed the their yearly subscription since Mike and the Big Dog's will be ending operations on May 1, 2004.
The fact is that I haven't renewed anyone's subscription. Fans have just failed to cancel their subscriptions.
When fans sign up they get a notice that subscriptions automatically renew at the end of their term unless they are cancelled.
Once again, subscriptions are automatically renewed unless cancelled. We have deliberately given fans more than a year's notice of the site's departure so that they could cancel if they so wished. However, we can't cancel the subscription for you.
If you wish to cancel or not renew, go to "My Account" and log in.
Then go to "My Subscriptions" and take the necessary actions to cancel or non renew.
