The West All-Stars began the second game with a 12-0 run before the East answered with 17 straight points. The game eventually went into overtime and was still tied after the extra session when Jafar Johnson (6-2, Cecil MD) swished a 15-foot jumper in "sudden death" to lift the East to a 42-40 triumph. Victor Akinyangu (6-6, Cecil MD) topped all scorers with 12 points while Johnson and James Clark (6-3, Angelina TX) each contributed 7 points. The West was paced by Donald Hennie (5-10, Hostos NY) with 10 points and Lateef Hicks (6-4, Porterville CA) with 8.
Among the other top players in the camp were Rodney Epperson (6-9, Barton KS) and Jihad Muhammad (5-11, San Jacinto TX).
Some 120 prospects participated in the two-day camp that was conducted by Ahead of the Game and supported by Big Apple Sports and the Littlefield JUCO Report.
