Dayes to visit Knights this weekend

Weston Cypress Bay running back Matthew Dayes will make an official visit to UCF this weekend.

Weston Cypress Bay running back Matthew Dayes will make his second visit this weekend. Dayes will trip to UCF. He previously visited North Carolina State this past fall.

Dayes, 5-foot-8 and 200-pounds, had a sensational senior season, rushing for just under 2,000 yards. He led his team to the state title game before losing a high scoring heart breaker to Apopka.

Dayes was committed to N.C. State before backing off that pledge.

"I am going to UCF this weekend and to Vanderbilt on the 25th. That's all I know about so far."

Dayes is a three-star recruit and the No. 88 ranked running back in the nation.
