PISCATAWAY, N.J. -- Offensive lineman Chris Muller dropped more than 30 pounds and significantly decreased his body-fat percentage as a true freshman at Rutgers. Now in competition for playing time at guard, Muller went in-depth on his improvements as a football player and extreme focus in the weight room.

Muller spent his first semester on the sidelines, catching up to the speed of college football and re-shaping his body. Now solidly on the Rutgers two-deep as a second-team guard, the former U.S. Army All-American gets his first true opportunity to battle for a starting job.
Muller dropped from 340 pounds to 308 in his first year in strength coach Jeremy Cole's workout program and discussed how his new body has him playing at a high level.
