PISCATAWAY, N.J. -- The best players will play on the offensive line for Rutgers and sophomore Keith Lumpkin wants to be one of them.

Lumpkin had a quiet first two seasons as the big man adjusted to college football and improved in the weight room. Now a solid member of the two-deep, Lumpkin feels ready to go from scout team to starter with R.J. Dill gone from last year's offensive line.

Lumpkin is one of three St. Peter's Prep (Jersey City, N.J.) products on the Rutgers two-deep and was excited to see former coach Rich Hansen at this weekend's coaching clinic.
