Jennings Commits to Rutgers

Timber Creek (Erial, N.J.) three-star wide receiver Adonis Jennings verbally committed to Rutgers at the end of a full camp experience. Jennings picked Rutgers after cutting down to eight schools Sunday night and is the third Timber Creek commit in as many years.

Timber Creek (Erial, N.J.) wide receiver Adonis Jennings ended Rutgers camp with a splash by making his verbal commitment to coach Kyle Flood.

Jennings camped at Rutgers with his team and announced his decision shortly after a meeting with Flood at the end of camp. Jennings narrowed to eight schools at the start of camp and was quick to decide after the full experience at Rutgers.

"They were the first school that offered," Jennings said after cutting to eight schools. "I like everything at Rutgers. Every time I come here, the visits are always great and it's just a great program all around."

Jennings is the 18th commitment in the class of 2014 and the No. 74 wide receiver in the country. He chose Rutgers over Syracuse, Iowa, Temple, Kansas, Vanderbilt, Illinois and Pittsburgh. Jennings is set to join the Scarlet Knights, which already have former teammates Quanzell Lambert and Myles Nash on the roster.
