TV: Johnson Discusses Position Changes

PISCATAWAY, N.J. -- Tejay Johnson was in contention for a starting cornerback slot in the spring, but has since seen his position switched. He is competing to play free safety and weakside linebacker, and he spoke about the transition.

Tejay Johnson played in 13 games as a red-shirt freshman, and most of his play was on special teams with a little playing time at cornerback while registering 11 tackles.

In 2013, though, Johnson's role figures to expand after he was moved to play safety and linebacker.

After the first practice of training camp, the 6-foot-2, 195-pound Johnson spoke about the transition of playing different positions.
