Freshman Focus: WR Janarion Grant

PISCATAWAY, N.J. -- Rutgers freshman Janarion Grant could work his way into the receiver rotation and onto the return teams, and he went 1-on-1 with to discuss his adjustment to college and college football.

One of the more electric freshman through the first two weeks of Rutgers training camp is receiver Janarion Grant.

Not only has he played well on offense, but coach Kyle Flood has used him in the punt return game.

Grant, who is 5-foot-10, 155 pounds, scored a Pasco County (Fla.) record with 77 career touchdowns at Trinity (Fla.) Pasco High, including 20 last season despite missing six games with a broken hand.

Grant is also one of the few true freshmen with a chance to play this season, and he spoke to about the possibility.
