Milewski Makes Return

PISCATAWAY, N.J. -- Prior to the opener at Fresno State, Rutgers defensive end David Milewski last played as a freshman in 2011. That was two ACL surgeries ago, and he spoke to ScarletReport.com about the meaning of his return.

Prior to the season opener at Fresno State, the last time David Milewski played in a game was Sept. 2011, and that was as a linebacker.

Since then, Milewski twice went through the grueling rehab of ACL surgery, and changed positions to defensive end.

In the loss to the Bulldogs, he was on the field for more than 60 plays and made three tackles. He spoke with ScarletReport.com about the emotions of being back on the field, and also about playing at home for the first time Saturday against Norfolk State.
