Maturity, Experience Helping Hamilton

PISCATAWAY, N.J. -- Sophomore defensive tackle Darius Hamilton is taking on a bigger role on Rutgers' defensive line, and he spoke with about how he is better able to handle the increased work load this season.

Darius Hamilton's nine tackles in two games lead Rutgers' defensive linemen, and his 2 1/2 tackles for loss is tops on the team.

Hamilton, now a sophomore defensive tackle, spoke about his maturity as a player, the motivating factor of defensive line coach Jim Panagos and what the retirement ceremony of Eric LeGrand's No. 52 means to the program.
