When Jeremy Deering was injured on the opening kickoff in Saturday's win against Eastern Michigan, it meant Tejay Johnson had to move into a more prominent role.

Johnson finished with five tackles and afterward the Rutgers red-shirt sophomore spoke to about his play, and being ready to fill in for Deering.
