TV: Freshman RB Justin Goodwin

PISCATAWAY, N.J. -- True freshman running back Justin Goodwin saw a feature role in games against SMU and Louisville, and expects the same Saturday against Houston. With 18 days between games, Goodwin broke down the importance of the bye week when it comes to the film room and technique.

PISCATAWAY, N.J. -- The last time true freshman Justin Goodwin took the field at High Point Solutions Stadium, he did so to help close out a victory over SEC foe Arkansas.

Four weeks later, he will take the field against Houston with a significantly brighter spotlight on him. Goodwin broke out against SMU for 222 total yards and three touchdowns, and is now a co-starter alongside Savon Huggins with Paul James nursing a lower leg injury.

Goodwin spent the majority of his bye week in the film room to work on pass protection and missed assignments. His confidence is on the rise, said head coach Kyle Flood, and the Scarlet Knights expect to use him to establish a ground game on Homecoming.
