PISCATAWAY, N.J. -- Playing the hybrid "R" defensive end position at Rutgers
was not close to what Quanzell Lambert
expected upon enrollment, but he is excited about his early path to the field.
A high-ankle sprain as a true freshman kept him away from playing middle linebacker in 2012, where he eventually moved to defensive end for the Scarlet Knights.
Lambert, now in his second year out of Erial (N.J.) Timber Creek, discussed his position change and path to the field with ScarletReport.com leading up to kickoff against Houston.
