TV: Hendrikson Ready to Start

PISCATAWAY, N.J. -- Dallas Hendrikson waited a long time and is finally in position for his first career Rutgers start. Because of a nagging injury to start Betim Bujari, the fifth-year senior and junior college transfer anticipates to get the nod against Cincinnati.

PISCATAWAY, N.J. -- Greg Schiano recruited Dallas Hendrikson to Rutgers from Iowa Western Community College to immediately step in as a starting center. Injuries and development kept Hendrikson on the sidelines for two years, but he is now in position for his first career start in the final parts of his career.

Hendrikson practiced as the first-team center Tuesday with starter Betim Bujari out, and projects to hear his name called Saturday against Cincinnati.
