TV: Chas Dodd Postgame

EAST HARTFORD, Conn. -- Senior Chas Dodd returned as the Rutgers starting quarterback, but the offense remained sluggish in a 28-17 loss to Connecticut. After the loss, Dodd spoke about the game, and the frustration, from the locker room at Rentschler Field.

Rutgers used a different look at quarterback in senior Chas Dodd with heavy shotgun look. Dodd completed 16 of 35 passes for 286 yards in the game, and threw two late interceptions.

Dodd made his 17th career start in lieu of the struggling Gary Nova, who spent the game on the bench. Rutgers coach Kyle Flood said he has not made a decision on his starter for South Florida.
