TV: H Tartacoff Preps for Senior Night

PISCATAWAY, N.J. -- J.T. Tartacoff is set for his final home game in a Rutgers uniform, where he acts as a holder on special teams. A converted receiver and safety, Tartacoff went 1-on-1 with to discuss Senior Night and his journey from Montgomery (N.J.) High to Rutgers.

PISCATAWAY, N.J. -- J.T. Tartacoff made noise at wide receiver during his first summer at Rutgers, but never took over the role he expected coming out of high school.

A position change and injury later, Tartacoff moved to holder, where he was happy to help Rutgers in any way that he could. Tartacoff was consistent as a holder, and took a step forward as a senior via the trick plays in his arsenal.

Tartacoff threw a touchdown on a fake field goal against Connecticut, and came close to another one against Louisville earlier this season. In addition to a solid reputation as a holder, Tartacoff has a 416.2 passer efficiency rating pending any more trick plays in the game plan.
