Flood Makes Three Staff Changes

Rutgers coach Kyle Flood made three staff moves Sunday after the end of the regular season came in the 31-6 victory over South Florida. Flood let go three full-time assistants, sources told ScarletReport.com.

Rutgers football coach Kyle Flood promised adjustments after a late-season collapse in 2013, and made the decision Sunday morning to part ways with three of his assistant coaches.

Defensive coordinator Dave Cohen, quarterbacks coach Rob Spence and offensive line coach Damian Wroblewski have all been dismissed by Flood, sources said.

With Cohen calling the plays as Robb Smith's replacement this season, the young Rutgers defense surrendered 4,872 total yards for the second worst mark in school history. Rutgers also gave up 29.8 points per game to its opponents.

Wroblewski and Spence joined Flood's staff during his first spring leading the program.
