TV: Moore Sets Career High

PISCATAWAY, N.J. -- Senior J.J. Moore called it a revenge game against Houston after losing badly two weeks ago in Texas. Moore got hot early and finished with 27 of Rutgers' 93 points on the night -- a career high.

J.J. Moore scored 17 of his 27 in the first half, including two monster dunks in the 93-70 victory over Houston.

Moore came to Rutgers from Pittsburgh with the chance to become more of a scorer. His hot hand Saturday night played a key role in the end of a four-game losing streak.

"We didn't really play to our potential when were down there (at Houston)," Moore said. "It was their atmosphere and stuff. Here, in front of our fans and playing in front of my family and all that stuff, it's a totally different thing."
