Flood Talks Hot Offseason News and Notes

NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J. -- Rutgers football coach spent his Thursday afternoon on campus to present a $5,000 donation to the office of veteran and military programs and services. After the presentation, Flood spoke with beat writers about the latest offseason updates.

Rutgers football coach Kyle Flood is happy with the progress he sees with his new coaching staff. With the defensive staff familiar with new hire Bob Fraser, the adjustments have moved smoothly in the offseason.

Flood also broke down the adjustments with Ralph Friedgen taking over the offense and the behind-the-scenes look at Ben McDaniels.

Needing two more graduate assistants to complete his staff, Flood and Rutgers plan to have an announcement Monday.

ScarletReport.com reported last week that former star quarterback Mike Teel will be one of those hires.
