The Big Ten Conference announced its men's basketball conference schedule Friday afternoon, and the Scarlet Knights have plenty of exciting games on the schedule.
"There's still a lot of basketball to be played this season, beginning with tomorrow's game against USF," said Rutgers coach Eddie Jordan in a statement. "We remain focused on our daily improvement and look forward to finishing this season with strength and character."
The Big Ten schedule includes five home-and-home matchups in its 18-game slate. Rutgers will see every team at least once in the 2014-15 conference season.
Rutgers has home-and-home meetings with Indiana, Michigan, Penn State, Purdue and Maryland. The Scarlet Knights host Michigan State, Ohio State, Wisconsin and Northwestern and travel to Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska and Illinois.
"To compete against these great universities is a tremendous opportunity for our program," Jordan said. "Welcoming Big Ten teams to the RAC annually is exciting for the entire Rutgers community, including our fans, students, players and recruits. The future of Rutgers Basketball is very bright."
